ZopoShop.com Update

Yesterday I had enough of Zoposhop, I contacted the support several times but didn't receive the answer I wanted.
Then I reported a trouble on paypal.com and guess what? It got closed today with a good message: I got my money back as I wanted.

And today I had to choose an alternative...a hard decision...
Samsung Galaxy S4? Good, yes but just 1,7 GHz and Samsung Launcher + bloatware
Sony Xperia Z1? Nice processor, good camera hmmm but damn huge rim
LG G2? My favorite, really nice haptic and small rim but also bloatware

Now I made a decision and really hope I won't regret it: I ordered the Google Nexus 5 32GB

ZopoShop.com Pre-Order and how NOT to treat your customers

In early december I pre-ordered the Zopo ZP998 octa core smartphone.

First it was said there will be a free gift package (2 in 1 OTG latest usb,original zopo protect case ,original screen protect film,orignial zopo wrist watch,cable roller,touch pen,lanyard,dust plug) but then they write via mail: 

"for the customers only who paid shipping fee can enjoy gift package,and who choose freeshipping are not included."

 OK, that sucks. But then after several days they drop the next bomb with this mail:

"Dear Fans for pre-order zp998:
we are so honored that you had pre-order our latest new flagship octa-core zp998！
In our first production test,we found that the onboard flash rom of 16GB’s power consumption time is more excellent than 32GB.In order to save convenience for phone software’s storage,we decided to release the first ZP998 with onboard 16GB flash ROM !
Considering the pre order version ROM is 32GB, we will offer external 16GB T flash card as a gift for each phone!
At same time ,it have 50% chance to win your free 16GB memory(TF) card up to32GB
16G(onboard)+32GB(external TF card)= 48GB!!
But this chances only belongs to the customer who has placed pre-order. We will send E-mail to all the pre-order customer whether you get free 16GB T flash card update to 32GB in 25th,Dec!!

A. Accept the updated version( 2G RAM+16G ROM with 16GB TF card,get a chance to update 16GB TF card to 32GB!)
B. Disagree and Cancel the order, get refund instead.

I mean come on are you kidding me? What the f....NO thats not what I ordered.
Then I contacted the support via mail and skype, not really getting an answer.
Then on christmas (24.12.) they call me on my phone, with very poor sound and broken english with chinese accent probably a skype call. Couldn't unterstand what she was saying, I just repeated I want my money back, it should take about two days. Now I am waiting for my money back.
If Zoposhop sends me the package that I don't want I will instantly contact Paypal, I warned them already so they can freeze the money if I want so.

Hermes strikes again

Und wieder einmal leistet sich Hermes bei  mir einen Fauxpas...
Liefert das Paket, gibt es bei den Nachbarn ab da ich auf Arbeit war in der Zeit und was machen die Experten mit dem Lieferzettel mit der Info dazu?
Kleben ihn an die Wohnungstür statt sie in den Briefkasten zu packen, die Nachbarn waren zwischendurch dann auch nochmal weg und meinten der Zettel lag zwischendurch schon auf dem Boden und sie haben ihn beim Verlassen des Hauses neu fixieren müssen...peinlich, peinlich...

Windows XP Datei Icon kaputt

Auf Arbeit hatte ich heute ein merkwürdiges Problem nach einem Update, alle Textdatei-Icons waren plötzlich defekt.
Ich hatte nur noch dieses Icon

Löschen der IconCache.db brachte nichts, umstellen von 32-Bit Ansicht auf 16 änderte ebenfalls nichts.
Bei mir hat es erst wieder funktioniert, als ich in der Registry den Schlüssel ".txt" in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT gelöscht habe...komisch das

Yamaha PDX 11 Sound Test

Habe hier mal den Sound der Box getestet, im Vergleich zu meiner alten kleinen Box von Jack & Jones, man merkt den Unterschied doch eindeutig.

ZOPO ZP998

So, habe mir nun gestern das ZOPO ZP998 vorbestellt, Lieferung wird vermutlich wohl erst im Januar sein, aber damit bin ich immer noch einer der Ersten.
So ein kleines Geschenk an mich selbst, das mein noch gut funktionierendes Galaxy S2 ablösen wird.
Hardwaretechnisch absolut Top, nur die Software ist noch so eine Sache, hoffentlich wird es eine Cyanogenmod Portierung für das Gerät geben.
Wenn ich das Gerät in der Hand halte, werden wohl noch Posts hier folgen ;)
